Mild vitreomacular traction

Color retinography (CLARUS 500, Zeiss): Discrete increase in macular brightness with slight blurring of the foveal area.

OCT (Cirrus-HD 6000, Zeiss) (A): Focal vitreomacular traction with loss of foveal depression. The traction slightly distorts the inner retina without generating pseudocysts.

Description

Mild vitreomacular traction. In the physiological process of posterior vitreous detachment, certain cases generate an increased adhesion between the posterior hyaloid and the foveal plane. Depending on the traction surface, it can be focal or diffuse. If the foveal distortion generated is mild and the traction point is focal, the expectant attitude is the best option.
