Description

Papillophlebitis or optic disc vasculitis is a special form of central retinal vein thrombosis, typical in young adults. Macular edema is rare and generally has a good visual prognosis.

The case evolved satisfactorily with complete visual and funduscopic recovery, without requiring angiogenic treatment.
