Rights of the interested party
The interested party maintains control over all personal data provided when visiting the website or using the services. The interested party has the following rights, which may be exercised free of charge.
1. Right of access
Right to obtain information about personal data stored at any time. You have the right to know for what purposes the personal data are processed, for how long they are processed (see Storage duration ) and to whom they are disclosed, if applicable (see Categories of data ). The identity of the requesting person must first be verified before information can be provided.
2. Right of revocation/objection
If you have given consent to a particular data processing, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

3. Right to data portability

4. Right to rectification, deletion or limitation of processing.
You have the right to obtain rectification of data and to have the data completed by means of a supplementary declaration; you also have the right to have data that are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected deleted or the right to have the processing of such data restricted.
5. Right to claim
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or with the data protection officer, if you have grounds for doing so. To make any claims against the company, please contact the contact person listed at the beginning of this data protection notice.
Data categories and data recipients
1. What categories of data are used?
The categories of personal data processed include, among others, the following:
- Your contact information, for example, first and last name, address, phone number(s), email address, etc.
- Professional information, for example, place of work, your position, membership number, professional history, etc.
- Your image, if provided by you.
It is necessary to bring to your attention the fact that, within the framework of the respective contractual relationship, the subject must provide those personal data and those related to his/her workplace that are necessary for the establishment, execution and termination of the contractual relationship or promise of execution and its respective fulfillment, or those data that we are legally obliged to collect.
2. Recipients of personal data
To the extent necessary, those departments that require it to perform their functions will have access to personal data.
In addition, personal data may be disclosed to service providers for the provision of services to our company or to you on our behalf. These are carefully selected partners who provide services. These service providers, known as data processors, process personal data on behalf of the company and in accordance with certain instructions. Each service provider is expected to use reasonable security measures appropriate to the nature of the information in question to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Service providers are prohibited from using the personal data we provide to them in any manner other than that stipulated by us.
3. Transfers to third countries or international organizations
Transfers to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (“third countries”) only take place to the extent necessary for the respective purpose. Storage duration
- Personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the respective purpose. The law stipulates a period for which data storage is mandatory. Depending on the legal basis, this is usually 6 to 10 years.
- Furthermore, the data will be retained until the expiry of the statutory limitation periods, normally 3 years, as long as this is necessary for the formulation, exercise or defence of legal claims. The corresponding data will then be routinely deleted if they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected.
Automated decision-making, including profiling
Personal data collected, for example, on websites and which helps to understand the interests of customers or potential customers may be used for personalization purposes to offer content and information that is relevant. No automated decision-making will be carried out based on such collected data.

Purposes of processing personal data
Personal data will only be collected and processed when consent has been given or if permitted or required by other legal provisions. Generally, this data is obtained in two ways: either it is provided by the individual, or the company collects it when its products and services are used.
