The User may submit cases, images and/or video content (“User Cases”) for review by a Committee of Experts and publication on the Website. The User shall be the owner of the rights relating to the User Cases, although by submitting the Cases, the User grants Zeiss a free, unlimited, worldwide and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce and display them, as well as a license to produce written or audiovisual material derived from the User Cases in any format, and waives the right to exercise any right or legal action that may apply to it against Zeiss in relation to the User Cases published on the Website.
The User acknowledges and agrees that he/she is solely responsible for the User Cases submitted by him/her and for the consequences of their submission and publication, expressly excluding Zeiss from any liability relating to them.
The User declares to be the owner of all the rights, licenses, permits and consents necessary for Zeiss to use and/or publish their User Cases. Likewise, the User undertakes not to send and/or publish any case, image or video that may infringe the rights of third parties unless the owner of such rights has granted formal authorization for such sending and publication. This authorization must include, in favor of Zeiss, the license rights referred to in this General Condition. Additionally, the User is aware that the sending of cases must not contain personal data of patients, in accordance with current data protection and health advertising regulations.
The User accepts that Zeiss and/or the Committee of Experts in charge of reviewing the User Cases may contact him/her to comment on and review the case, and evaluate its publication, and may request additional data for the creation of a co-author file, subsequently publishing it on the Website.
Zeiss reserves the right to remove any images, videos or cases that are contrary to current legislation, these General Conditions, good customs, morality and public order.
If you provide information when using Our Services, such information must be true and complete. We reserve the right to verify your identity or any information you provide to us.
